This entry demonstrates that you know how to use gustar in the preterite. Your developing mastery of the -ar preterite verbs is evident throughout the essay. Your limited ability to mix present tense with preterite demonstrates a developing understanding of the tenses in Spanish. I would liked to see more sentence variety, which we discussed in class. Also, the goal of this assignment was to use the preterite, and you've used quite a lot of present tense and showed no knowledge of ser/ir in the preterite. You are also overusing accent marks. You did not use any signal words. Your ability to make comparisons in Spanish using a variety of adjectives is displayed one time in the essay.
